Apparently some accommodations had been made for The Palestinians who were already there and had been since long, long ago. In Naalin, Palestine, people were getting along, more or less before this happened. People are not getting along now. As a matter of fact, the new Israelis are now treating the Palestinians the same way that the Nazi's treated the Jews. Let's add some irony and say, "Go figure".

It contains something I have never seen before: a threatened injunction against a book they haven't read and that won't be published until September. Acting on behalf of the "private security contractor" Tim Spicer, Schillings gave the publishers three days (the deadline was last Friday) to guarantee that the book does not defame its client, or face "an injunction to restrain publication".

Taser Deaths in the USA?

wrapI was asked to attend a Citizens Police School as part of our local police department's community outreach program. What I discovered left me with the strange urge to check if my passport was still valid. Attending the Citizen Police Academy course provides some insight into how police officers think and what they see themselves as being up against in the community, and it isn't very reassuring. It is clear to me that the Police today have an very definite "us Vs them" mentality as regard the ordinary public. Our instructor said that while police are citizens too, they are also "not citizens". He talked a lot about "potential" in the sense that the police see every citizen they come in contact with as having the "potential" to do harm to the police officer.
